3 hour kayaking trip in our steady tandem kayaks. You can choose between kayaking on the lake Årdalsvatnet or on the Sognefjord. We make sure to make stops along the way, for the kids to run around and have fun.

Half Day Kayaking Trip

Our experienced guides takes you out on a trip on the beautiful lake named Årdalsvatnet. Out on the water you can enjoy the majestic mountain views while experiencing kayaking on crystal clear water from the glaciers of Jotunheimen. On this kayak trip you will learn the basic skills needed to paddle in a safe way and learn about our local and cultural history. During this adventure we take our time to really take in the sights and we make sure to camp and have lunch by the lake side. We also offer a similar kayak trip on the Sognefjord.

From Fjord to Mountain

EVERY DAY on request• 7 HOURS

6-8 hour guided trip. We kayak from Øvre Årdal to the secluded valley of Nundalen. From the lakeside we hike up to Haugstad Farm at 520 masl. Amazing viewpoint. The guide will tell you about the history of the valley - before and after the industrialization. You will also hear some of the legends connected to this valley. This trip is off the beaten track, and absolutely one to remember.

Whole Day Kayaking Trip

EVERY DAY on request • 6 hours

Spend a day in a kayak. We kayak through the most beautiful landscape in the world, and take our time to really take in our surroundings. Duration: 5-6 hours

We kayak to secluded streams and places along the waterside. The guide will tell you about the history of Årdal. This trip is off the beaten track, and absolutely one to remember.
